Rojy Philip MD, MBA, FAAFP, DiABOM
Dr. Philip is board-certified and also holds certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. In addition, he has earned the prestigious designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), reflecting his expertise, leadership, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Dr. Philip also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), further enhancing his ability to integrate clinical excellence with strategic leadership in healthcare.

Dr. Philip grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois, and began his healthcare career as a radiology, CT, and MRI technologist. His early experiences working closely with patients inspired him to further his education and pursue a career in medicine, where he could make an even greater impact on the lives of those he serves.

He completed his Family Medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center/Michigan State University, where he also served as Chief Resident. Following residency, he continued to serve the community as a faculty physician, mentoring residents and medical students. Dr. Philip remains passionate about delivering high-quality, comprehensive care along with teaching.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Philip enjoys spending time with his wife and children, whether in Detroit or Chicago.
